Our home is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort offering a base from which to launch year-round adventure, exploration, family visits, business ventures or to simply relax, restore and recharge.
ON SITE MANAGER lives in the third floor apartment and is always ready to assist you during your stay. The entrance is SHARED with the manager but interaction is minimal.
Our home is nestled into the countryside with virgin timber on 2 sides, providing natures sights and sounds from sunrise to sunset. With this as the background, we offer the use of a fire pit, nature walking areas, tetherball, a plethora of other outdoor games, as well as furnished deck with ramp.
Your rental includes a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a spacious dining room and a cozy living room area with TV on the main floor. The TV has a fire stick and a DVD player. You can bring your own streaming device. Yes, groceries can be delivered ahead of time to make you stay stress-free. Whatever the purpose of your visit, the welcome mat is out, and we are already preparing for your visit.
Imagine being just a short drive of less than 10 miles away from several unique attractions, such as the two public beaches (Lake Le Homme Dieu and Rotary Beach), Geneva Golf Course, The Crooked Willow Event Center, Public lake access for Lake Geneva, Carlos Creek Winery, Legacy of the Lakes Museum, Shopping in downtown Alexandria and Osakis, and so much more! These attractions are nearby and easily accessible, making your stay more enjoyable.

Summary: House was comfortable and relaxing. It is a delightful old farm house - well updated with comfortable beds. It was closer than expected to a rather busy road. Needed to get use to the traffic noise. Location was convenient for visiting places in the area. Also enjoyed bird watching and some deer sightings.

Summary: We were all very impressed. The only thing that may concern renters is that the owner lives on site on the third floor. She was a wonderfully kind and generous woman, but that might be a put off for some people renting.

Summary: We had a great weekend at the house. I would like it to be ore clear that the owner also lives at the house. We had no clue until we arrived. It's not a big deal but it needs to be communicated.

Summary: Absolutely loved our time! Perfect open kitchen/dining area for family time while cooking/eating. Ample parking and helpful/accommodating host! The kids loved the space and the hot cocoa with breakfast! They continuously asked if it "could be our third house and we move in so we can come whenever we we want"! Can't wait to be back!

Summary: The house was clean and welcoming. Our stay was great. The manager lives on the third floor however and I think that should be listed in the listing. It wasn’t necessarily a problem but I think people should be made aware.

Summary: Mary is awesome! Friendly, accommodating and helpful. The house is packed with everything you need. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner with the dishware all available for 10 people. Lots of rooms and bathrooms. We will be back!
